The June is Pearl Month Sweepstakes (慡weepstakes? begins at 12:01 AM Eastern Time (慐T? on May 8, 2007 and ends at 11:59 PM (ET) on June 30, 2007 (慡weepstakes Entry Period?. Entries can only be made online.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter online, visit www.18gem.com China Gem Net/pearl and follow all entry instructions to complete and submit your entry by voting for the Pearl piece you would like to win (慞rimary Entry?. The first time you vote, you can earn one additional entry in the drawing (態onus Entry? for the Pearl piece you voted for on that day only by completing the survey question(s). Limit: Only one (1) Primary Entry per person or per e-mail address will be allowed per day and only one (1) Bonus Entry per person or email address will be allowed during the entire Sweepstakes Entry Period. If more than one Primary Entry is received per day from an entrant, only the first Primary Entry received that day will be entered. When entering on a subsequent day you may enter a different Pearl piece. Entrants are subject to all online notices including, but not limited to, Sponsor抯 privacy policy. Online entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, damaged, incomplete, incorrect, garbled, illegible or misdirected entries. The value of each prize represents the Sponsor抯 good faith determination of the maximum retail value thereof. Different creative presentation may illustrate/promote various jewelry pieces during the promotional period. The jewelry pieces advertised are intended for illustration purposes only and may not necessarily present the actual jewelry pieces that will be awarded as prizes. Selection of jewelry pieces will be at the Sponsor抯 sole discretion. Prizes are not redeemable for cash, are nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No substitution by winner is permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value in the event that original prize is unavailable. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received per drawing. Limit: one prize per household.

RANDOM DRAWINGS: There are ten (10) Drawings. Your entry (or entries) will be entered into the Pearl Jewelry Prize Drawing that you indicated at the time you made your entry. If no entries are received for a given Drawing, that prize will be awarded from among all eligible entries received throughout the Sweepstakes Entry Period.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Each Drawing Winner will be selected via random drawing conducted on or about 7/9/2007 by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to this sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by mail and at the Sponsor抯 discretion may be required to complete, notarize and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability (慉ffidavit? and a Publicity Release (慠elease? within 14 days of date printed on notification. The contact information (name, address, telephone number) provided by each entrant at time of entry will serve as the contact information of record in respect of all communications with each potential winner. Entrants who change address after entering are encouraged to file a forwarding order with the US Postal Service. 18gem.com China Gem Net disclaims any and all responsibility for notification/prizes not received for whatever reasons, including but not limited to: 1) change of address, 2) refusal of delivery, 3) return of item as undeliverable or 4) provision of wrong address during registration process. If a winner is otherwise eligible under these Official Rules, but is nevertheless deemed a minor in his or her state of primary residence, all required documents must be signed and returned by the winner抯 parent or legal guardian. If the Affidavit and Release are not returned within such time period, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected at random from among all eligible non-winning eligible entries received for that specific prize selection drawing. Prepaid overnight mail service will be supplied to each winner. If any prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable, the corresponding prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner from among the entries received for that prize selection. Prizes will be awarded approximately thirty (30) days after receipt and verification of executed documents. Winners will be responsible for payment of all federal, state, local and income taxes associated with the awarding of their respective prizes. Winners will be required to furnish his/her social security number for the sole purpose of preparation of any tax forms as required by law. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use each winner抯 name, prize won, hometown, and likeness for promotional purposes in any and all media (including online posting) without additional compensation, notification or permission.

ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, DC, age 18 or older. Employees of the Sponsor, its retailers, distributors and any of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and any members of their immediate family and household, are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. U.S. law governs this Sweepstakes.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: By entering, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrants who violate these Official Rules or interfere with this Sweepstakes in any manner. If disqualified, the Sponsor reserves the right to terminate entrant抯 eligibility to participate in this Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.

Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agencies, including advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective employees, officers, directors, shareholders, and legal counsel (collectively, 慠eleasees?, from any and all liability, claims, actions, injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from their participation in this Sweepstakes or from their acceptance, use or misuse of any prize awarded. The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winners. The value of each prize represents the Sponsor抯 good faith determination of the maximum retail value thereof. For Form 1099 reporting purposes, each winner shall be bound by such good faith determination.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Use of any automated entry software is prohibited. Online entries made with multiple e-mail addresses, under multiple identities or through the use of any other device or artifice to enter multiple times will be deemed invalid. Mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete or inaccurate entries are void. In case of a dispute, online entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address from which the entry is made. The authorized account holder is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Neither Releasees, nor any telephone network or service provider, are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human or printing error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, or line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, or software, inability to access any online service or web site, inability to submit the online entry form or any other error or malfunction, or any injury or damage to participant抯 or any other person抯 computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes, or for late, lost, stolen, or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. No copies, facsimiles or reproductions of entries will be accepted. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or if this Sweepstakes or any website associated therewith (or any portion thereof) becomes corrupted or does not allow the proper playing of this Sweepstakes and processing of entries per these Official Rules, or if infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, actions by entrants, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes, in the Sponsor抯 sole opinion, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such action, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this sweepstakes or any portion thereof. In the event this Sweepstakes is cancelled, the Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing to award all remaining prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect, entries received for the applicable drawing prior to the time of the action or event warranting such cancellation. Caution: Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any online service or web site or undermine the legitimate operation of this Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and/or other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
